Gordon, a qualified chartered accountant, worked in industry for over 30 years, whilst Kate was a primary school teacher for a number of years. Gordon was converted at Queens Road Baptist church in Wimbledon as a teenager, and met Kate there when she studied at a local teachers training college. They married in 1970 and they have three grown up children.
Gordon served as an elder at Queens Road for many years before they joined a church plant, where they served on the leadership team for 5 years. In the middle of 2003 God spoke to them and called them into full time ministry. After attending the Leaders’ School at Toronto they then successfully completed 5 months training at the newly opened training centre for the Restoring the Foundations ministry run by Chester and Betsy Kylstra in North Carolina.
